Write news as a status check
- Step 1: Open the latest official news page and release announcement, then write down the current status and date before reading search snippets or videos.
- Step 2: In the installed client, check the version and attempt the relevant feature or location only when the official page says it is available.
- Step 3: Label old footage by date and version, separate confirmed status from pending checks, and remove a gameplay instruction when the current client cannot reproduce it.

News pages become useful when they tell players what to do with uncertainty. Separate confirmed, playable now, planned, and still pending so an announcement does not become a false gameplay instruction.
To verify a status, open the official update page, note its publication date and version, then compare the installed client’s title screen or update branch. If the feature is absent in game, keep the article labelled as planned instead of turning preview footage into a route players cannot follow.
- Start with the latest official page and keep the date beside the status claim.
- Try the relevant feature only when the official source says it is available.
- Remove or revise an instruction when the current client cannot reproduce the older footage.
Refresh the status before sharing it
- Recheck the official archive after a hotfix.
- Remove unverified feature details from the headline.
- Use the installed client as the final check for availability.
